One of the best days for a college student!

Well, I just got back from an awesome Easter dinner. Luckily, I have my grandparents that live close, so I got to spend the holiday with them and other family members. My parents were not able to make it because they live so far away, but I did get to be with my cousins, aunt, uncle, and grandparents. It was really good to finally get together and enjoy the company of one another. Another plus, of course, was the food. Wow!! It was amazing. We had ham, potatoes, rolls, dessert, and other neat goodies. It was probably one of the best meals that I've had this semester. I'm sure my stomach was in shock from all the nutrients it was receiving. What an amazing day!

I did the exact same thing basically! My parents and siblings are far away, so I spent time with grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, the like. And I know what you mean about the food...TALK ABOUT DELICIOUS!!!!

I had ham too! In fact...now that I think about it, everyone I've spoken to had ham for Easter too. Why is that?

We had some ham...but mostly lamb...I'm not a fan of lamb...so I ate the ham. This side of my family has lamb all the time! I'm just not used to it....but then again, I'm not from South Africa...there's a few things those South Africans eat that I'm not sure about. But some of it is just DELICIOUS!!!!!

it is just funny to realize how poorly we eat as college kids, so when we do eat something healthy our bodies don't know what to do with it...

What a wonderful way to spend the holiday. Eating tasty food with family. Nothing can beat it.
